The focus of this year's Stahlbaukalender is the “New Standardization in Building Construction” and “Lightweight Construction”. One contribution was made by the chair team together with Prof. Dr. Ulrike Kuhlmann and Fabian Jörg (University of Stuttgart), Prof. em. Dr. Joachim Lindner (TU Berlin) and Prof. Dr. Andreas Taras (ETH Zurich). Thematically, the article deals with the essential changes in the course of the revision of the most important part of Eurocode 3, Part 1-1.

Prof. Dr. Markus Knobloch presented the main content of the article as part of the online event on Steel Structures Calendar Day on October 30, 2020. The participants received the information firsthand and also had the opportunity to ask questions in a direct conversation.
