This course aims to provide the basics in structural and fatigue behavior of steel structures. The objective of the course is to provide a basic understanding of applied mechanics for modeling the behavior of structural members in steel structures. Students will become familiar with computational analysis and evaluation methods using steel structures as examples. The course will also provide students with the ability to confidently apply numerical tools and software packages to solve practical engineering problems.
