The quickest route is via the Bochum/Witten motorway junction (A43 and A44). From the A43, take exit 19 (Bochum-Querenburg/Ruhr Universität) and follow the signs for ‘Ruhr Universität’.

On Universitätsstraße, take the exit for Ruhr-Universität Ost/Botanischer Garten/Fachhochschule and follow the road and the signs to the Parkhaus Ost car park at the junction of Oststraße / Am Hochschulcampus (opposite Building ID).

From Düsseldorf Airport to Bochum Central Station:

Follow the red ‘DB’ signs and take the ‘SkyTrain’ to the terminus ‘Düsseldorf Flughafen/Airport Rail Station’ (journey time approx. 5 minutes). Take the RE1/RE6/RE11 (journey time approx. 30 minutes) towards Bochum Hauptbahnhof.

 

From Bochum Central Station, take the U35 (CampusLine) towards Hustadt (approx. 10 minutes). Get off at the ‘Ruhr-Universität’ stop, go up the stairs and keep to the right. At the end of the bridge, just before the University Administration building, turn left (towards the SSC building).

Go down the spiral staircase, keep left and follow the path to the I buildings. Building IC is the third building on the right-hand side. Entrance on the north side (Level 04).
